Herbal Musings is an online community that offers information on botanical medicine, including research and industry news. The site also caters to many walks of life - basically, those interested in natural living.

The newsletter is issued monthly via email to subscribers and community members as well as being posted and archived on the site. I sincerely regret not being able to pay contributors, but I can offer exposure to their web sites, business or other published works. Each contributor is invited to provide a 1-2 paragraph bio that will appear with each published work, including links, if applicable.

Contributors are encouraged to submit short pieces (150-350 words) based on personal experience (i.e., aromatherapy tips, anecdotal stories, etc.), or stories that require minimal research, such as one or two herbs that help a specific condition. If you do this, you must include references in the form of book title, author, publisher and publication date or medical journal citation.

Book reviews are okay too (any book that focuses on alternative medicine, spiritual matters, self-help or one that promotes harmony with nature). Herbal folklore and history of use pieces are also welcome, as are gardening tips, recipes and poetry.
